Posted: September 04, 2020 by MOLLY J. McMAHAN
We asked agents and staff to give us a few of their favorite reads, both fiction and non. A wide variety of interests and topics with our crew.
Are any of these your favorite?
- What Radical Husbands Do by Regi Campbell
Matt Weaver is currently reading and he says that it is trans-formative. He also mentioned another book about numbers and running a large company, but this one sounded way more interesting to a larger audience.
- 5 People you Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
Cathy Miller says this book was powerful for her because "Each person you meet teaches you a lesson. You might not know what the lesson is at the time and you may never know how you are someone else’s lesson. Who you are and what you become is because of your actions and how the people around you affect you."
- Hamilton by Ron Chernow
Jenny Dickson picked this because is was the best history lesson she ever had. (she also said The Bible and "Make Your Bed" by Admiral William H McGraven,)
- 48 Laws for Power by Robert Greene
Zane Harris highly recommended this book as well as another popular title by Gary John Bishop (linked but not mentioned because NSFW title)
Other good Non-Fiction Recommendations were:
- The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls
- Anything about FDR
- How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
- Developing the Leader within You by John Maxwell
And for Fiction, we had some good classic recommendations:
- Doctor Zhivago
- The Secret Garden
- Wuthering Heights
- Little Women
- Sherlock Holmes

- 11/22/63 by Stephen King
