Facebook Privacy?

Wow.  I would think that companies learn lessons from past mistakes, but in the case of Facebook, they just keep pushing the limits of what their customers will put up with.  Maybe they are betting on the apathy of Americans. "Yeah, I don't like it, but it is my social life. How can the information they gather 'hurt' me?" or text me. Send me a personalized email. Don't patronize me. Don't treat me as if I am the problem (even if I might be part of the problem). I don't think that the "customer is always right" because sometimes we aren't. If I eat an entire meal and THEN decide it is bad and I shouldn't have to pay for it.  I am wrong.  If something is bad enough to be comp'ed by the establishment, I could probably figure it out in 2 bites, three, tops. I know some people blog for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and to move their lil' ole name higher on google or yahoo or bing or the flavor of the month search. Normally it only bothers me a little bit when some one says something like: I have lived in Louisville, Kentucky, Jefferson County, my entire life.
