2010 Awards Breakfast

Last Friday, Coldwell Banker McMahan Company held their annual awards event.  For the past two years we combined the yearly kick off meeting with the awards celebration and enjoyed breakfast together. Facebook Frustration

Normally I am able to adapt to the changes that facebook is always throwing at it's users.  I see my friends and co-workers get frustrated and ready to leave the service and I try to walk them along the new features. I have done tutorials in the past to get them back in the grove. But this latest update. WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Have a Backup Plan

This morning, the unthinkable. I noticed that my blackberry desktop has wanted to install updates for weeks, so this morning, I had some time...I booted up the Mac and started my updates. I took my son to school and when I came home.... I now am the owner of a doorstop. No Calls. No Email. No Google. No Facebook. Wait, why am I complaining? Start page for Real Estate

This post on Mashable's site is perfect timing for a class I am preparing for our sales associates right now.  During the winter months, I travel to area offices and educate the agents on technology and free 'net stuff that can help them with their business.  The Mashable article references different sites to set up a start page, but I personally prefer Google. Interview Checklist

One of the hardest things to do when interviewing a broker and a company to work with in your real estate career is to keep track of all of the information. How do the different companies stack up? Did I remember to ask Company A about office fees, or was that Company B? We have created a checklist that might help keep some of that information straight. You can download it here.
