Brian was recommended by a realtor I knew from a different state that I live in. I am a friend of a first-time home buyer who moved to Lexington and didn't know where to begin with the home buying process. Brian helped my friend buy a home. Brian was patient allowing me to be on a 3-way call with him and my friend to ask questions about how to go through the home buying process, and to ask more questions before signing contracts to make a bid or close on a house. Brian helped my friend find a mortgage broker, helped with finding a home inspector before the closing, effectively negotiated terms of the final purchasing contract, and even recommended a handyman after the closing to help with a few small projects. Over a 9 month process in a tight market, Brian consistently showed up to first show houses throughout all of Lexington and then finally in the area my friend decided to focus on. Brian is knowledgeable, patient and aims to please. He continued to tell my friend, "I want to help you find a house you are happy with". Brian was patient enough to help her find everything she was looking for; she has no regrets with the process of the final result of her home purchase. I hear her say often that she is so happy to have her new home.

Brian Is excellant at his job.he will do everything he can to help you. He was away proposing, We didnt know this.He still took time ouyt to return our call.In the middle of this big event.Tell me if you think you can find someone else that will do this for you,When you find Your dream home like we did. Brian Hatfield and his team of miracle workers took on the task of locating and helping my family with finding a new home. If anyone has any experience with the VA or buying/purchasing a home, you'll immediately know the sometimes stressful, time-consuming and long process. I had mentally prepared my family for that situation when my husband and I began the exciting change of our life, and it was never overshadowed by the inconsistency or run-around of a lot of Real Estate experiences/agencies. Brian Hatfield and his team were so utterly diligent, consistent and heartfelt in their management of the whole experience, that I am so thankful and appreciative of their seamless work; that my family did nothing but felt celebratory the ENTIRE time it was being arranged, and the nightmares you hear about with home owners and the process seemed a joke, because this team made it happen without any hiccups at all. If my husband and I had any concerns, they were immediately answered, and we kept correspondence on a day-to-day basis. I was always kept informed, in-the-know of the situation and they made it feel like we were apart of their family. As a first time home buyer, I knew I needed a team I could trust. The Coldwell Banker McMahan team, its Realtor Brian Hatfield and his colleagues are second to none when it comes to spear-heading the individual milestones to achieve a clean and successful close for the buyer and the seller. I wanted to capitalize on the buyer friendly market and use my VA loan to find the home I had been trudging for along life's journey. I knew very little about the process in the beginning. When it came time to close I felt confident in every aspect of the property, transfer of responsibility, risk, and gain because Brian and his team had explained everything so well in order of priority throughout the process. In fact, I was so comfortable at closing I think I even signed the closing table itself.

Brian is a fabulous agent. He very quickly ascertained what we were looking for, located the perfect home, and was always very responsive and on the ball. Brian had to pick up the slack and help the former home owner's because their "selling agent" was ineffective and consistently dropped the ball. Brian made the selling and purchase of our home easy for both the sellers and us. Because Brian had to step in and help the sellers, we actually made new great acquaintances in the former owners of our home. Ours was a bit of an unconventional sale, but because of Brian, the sale went through without a hitch or any delays. He is a consummate professional and Paul and I don't just highly recommend Brian, we feel that selecting Brian is the BEST decision a buyer or seller could make. We will definitely do repeat business with Brian when we are ready to buy our vacation home in a few years!!!! Do yourself a favor and call him for all your real estate needs!

I was very satisfied with the professionalism and punctuation of Brian and his team. I am currently serving in the US Marine Corps and recently returned from Afghanistan. I applied for a VA loan and they immediately referred Brian. He has an extensive knowledge of the market and was focused on ensuring that I understood every aspect of buying a house before we closed. I was very happy with how quickly he responded to my calls texts and emails. If there was a house we were interested and we let him know he immediately responded with a set appointment to view the house and came with all the information about the house or had it shortly there after. I will definitely use Brian for my next home.

I cannot begin to adequately express our pleasure in working with Brian. Selling isn’t an easy process to undertake, particularly when you live out-of-state and the house is occupied by an elderly parent. When we contacted Brian of our needs…sell this home quickly (we had contracted on a newer home for my mom) and as close to “as-is” condition as possible, Brian accepted the challenge, suggesting a listing price that would get us where we needed to be financially and move the property quickly. He was right---we received a full-price offer within a week of the listing. Quickly identifying a few items that needed to be repaired, Brian arranged for local contractors to effect those repairs quickly and at a fair cost. Throughout the process, Brian met with and regularly communicated with my mother regarding sale status, and was extremely helpful in keeping her stress free. His personality, business acumen, contractor connections, listening & negotiating skills and overall demeanor are what most would expect of a real estate professional.

Brian did a great job and, in particular, his strongest effort for us was in marshalling the contractors for the needed renovations and repairs needed to best get our property on the market and best show it. I think these improvements, while costly, helped get the return on the investment when our house sold much quicker than what we had anticipated.

We were very pleased with our experience with Brian and Paul who worked as a team for Coldwell Banker McMahan during our relocation to Lexington. They were determined to find us the right home and worked with us through several contracts to make sure that happened. We are very happy with our location, their knowledge and our overall experience. With other friends/co-workers relocating to the area, we have given their name as a referral. Not that we hope to move again anytime soon, but if we did, we would definitely use Brian and Paul.
