World Bee Day

We love our polinators

Today is world bee day and while I was not aware that was a thing until recently, I am thankful for it.  I have an affinity for critters that keep the food chain going and would seriously miss them and the honey they provide if they were to disappear.The past several years there has been an awareness campaign for just how important bees are to our survival and maintaining the eco-system.For me, it does not feel like spring and early summer until I see bees flying from clover to flowering veggie plants on a war... read more

In Kentucky we are so fortunate to have several scenic drives that display so much this beautiful state has to offer. The BIg Four Bridge

The Big Four Bridge has quickly become a Louisville, Kentucky favorite for people on both sides of the river.  Any given weekend if the sun is out so are the crowds walking and biking the bridge.  With great places to eat or grab a drink on either side of the river it can be an all day affair and great exercise too!  Depending on where you park your car a person who walks or bikes from one side of the bridge to the other (and down the ramp) can easily clock 3 miles round trip.  Not only is it a ... read more
